In addition to the oh-so-sweet gig at FKA this Thursday, I have my every Friday gig at Wang’s, and an art opening for [prak-sis]. Wang’s is really the best bar in boystown, and if you haven’t made it out yet, do your self a favor and get over there! No cover, intimate setting, STRONG drinks, hot peeps. [prak-sis] is a new art curatorial collective that is attempting to “transform building spaces rendered vacant due to a downturn in the market, obsolesce, or neglect into art galleries. Public spaces attractive to audiences could also be utilized. [prak-sis] aims to bring contemporary art to non-gallery spaces to help neighborhoods counter the effects of a stagnant economy.” They are having a benefit party on Saturday called “Boyfriends and Girlfriends” featuring TPR pal S.I.R . Pricey donation but it includes food and drinks. Come on out this weekend and get down to my electro-rap-disco!
