Let me explain. After the first one, the owners were a little overwhelmed. Having packed the place like it had never been packed, and staying open WAY past closing time, there was a pause-in-party. Pinksters will have to, for the time being, stay tuned in for updates. When the party is happening, loyal TPR listeners and readers will be the first to know. Until Wang’s headquarters can organize the shizz, it’ll be super secret and extra exclusive. So exciting! It’s like guerrilla fanfare! And Wang’s will stay open as long as the drinks are flowing and the place is popping. There you have it. Please join us this Friday.

Is there a term for this line of reaction (Just learn to live with it / Don’t be so self-centered / Other pelope are worse off than you)? Or could someone point the way to articles / blogs that address this issue? I just read Barbara Ehrenreich’s Bright-Sided and am very interested in our societal habit of diminishing pelope’s disabilities, excoriating pelope for not having the proper attitude , and generally attempting to censor all negativity.
