Head over to Art School Girl to check out Nako Okubo’s latest letterpress print. nakodesign.com has a digital catalog of some of her past work, but the one over art ASG is part of “new talent” series, and is purchasable right now. Her print features a lot of text, and while I can’t read all the words (the image is small) it seems to be an inner dialogue about side effect panic. You know, the kind that you think about, privately, when you take prescription (or not) pills? This is a limited edition of 125, signed and numbered.
If her work looks familiar, it’s because she does all of the graphic design for FKA, Chicago Best Queer Dance Party, and that is not just my opinion anymore.
