Carrie Watch: Thunderant Pretty Funny
February 28, 2008In case you haven’t caught up with your favorite Sleater-Kinney ax wielder Carrie Brownstein lately, check out her comedy project Thunderant. It got a little more involved with the writer’s strike, as 1/2 of Thunderant is Fred Armisen from SNL. He was able to put more into the skits during his time off, and the results had me el-oh-el-ing, particlularly with “Feminist Bookstore.” Carrie’s blog for NPR, Monitor Mix is cute but I’m not sure she sinks her teeth into it as much as this comedy art.
