The Young Women’s Empowerment Project is one of the most progressive and important organizations in Chicago. Their mission, according their website is to “offer safe, respectful, free-of-judgment spaces for girls and young women impacted by the sex trade and street economies to recognize their goals, dreams and desires.”
The Sex Workers Art Show , a traveling cabaret style show featuring visual and performance art by people who work in the sex industry, is back in Chicago this weekend and raising money for YWEP.
I’m personally looking forward to my favorite burlesque star, The World Famous *BOB*
who became my hero when she made a martini with her cleavage at a Gurlesque Burlesque show.
